MotorWeek Flips its Wig for 2017 Ford Explorer

Has your new-car search ultimately led you to the full-size crossover class? Well, if so, we here at Bill Alexander Ford L-M Inc think you might like to have a good, long look at ours, the 2017 Explorer.

Wondering why we feel as we do?

Then, the clip below has your name on it. Here now with more on all things Explorer are the good folks at MotorWeek:

No doubt about it, there sure is an awful lot to appreciate about the Explorer's entry-level engine, a 3.5-liter V6.

Mating with a six-speed automatic transmission, the base V6 produces a hearty 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. It receives front-wheel drive as standard; all-wheel drive, meanwhile, is optional.

Better still, it does a pretty decent job in terms of fuel economy, too. When had with front-wheel drive, for example, the engine is estimated to achieve 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).

If you'd like to learn more about this scintillating SUV, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Yuma, AZ dealership. Our automotive aficionados are ready to answer your every question about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the present portfolio.
